I was surfing Facebook just now and came across a post that referred to a website called Employ Adam . It was built by someone called Adam Pacitti , and currently, he is looking for a job. He has set up his website with a hope to finding a job sooner, and I found this idea very intriguing and creative. Not just the website, he says to have spent his remaining few bucks to book a billboard and put an ad so that he can get hired. This recipe is positioned at the top of my 'All-time Favourite Snacks' list. Easy to prepare and yummy as hell-this recipe was taught to me by my mother and it was always known to me as a family recipe. However, I believed that the recipe was quite common, but after looking for it in the internet I couldn't find it posted anywhere; although I'm sure almost all the households of Bangladesh has tried these nuggets for at least once in their life. Below is the recipe: Ingredients: 1. Semolina--1 cup 2. Onion--1, medium sized 3. Egg--1 big or 2 small 4. Vegetables--finely chopped; optional 5. Green Chillies--3-4, chopped 6. I am freaking out, I mean seriously freaking out! On a sunny day of April I woke up to read a horrible post on Facebook that turned my whole world upside down. It said the end was near. It had a lot of statistical data to back the claim, as well as a lot of religion stuff that compelled me to believe that I was actually going to die soon. The post said something about the 3rd of August (the date was converted from Hijri calender) and I waited eagerly for death to arrive, but I was surprised when I woke up on the 4th of August. The previous day had been forgotten because of my workload and I hadn't even noticed! But this time it's not the same. Apparently some Mayan smart-pants had predicted this ages ago, and although the statistical data does not say anything about the world coming to an end on the 21st of December, it is said that a terrible debacle will take place (probably an earthquake) which will kill as many as 90% people of the earth, leaving the rest to carry ...

"Will my cat live?" The question haunted me for two fresh weeks not long ago. My cat Timmy was only three months old, and one day mom woke up and found him lying on the sofa with a high fever. I panicked. The last sick cat of mine had died. Was the same going to happen to him? You might think, "this girl is weird! The cats needed a vet that's it." But no, that's NOT it. I'll tell you why. I took my cat to the nearest hospital, which is the only public hospital and also the biggest one in Bangladesh (that's where I live). After seeing the cat for the first time (he had a fever of 105 degrees), the vet declared that he won't live. I was crestfallen. But then he said that he had a vaccine that he would inject, but all we could was pray! "Just once? Don't we have to continue it or something?" I asked him. "Do us, humans take medicine everyday?" he seemed to mock my words. I was so mad that I wanted to slap him hard...

Having celebrated Eid-ul-Azha recently, the refrigerator is full of beef. Beef and beef! This time mom and I thought that we would give our taste buds a little rest from the usual beef curry that has been being cooked for all our lives. So we went to the store and bought this cool grill (it looks nothing like your ordinary grill, trust me). Yesterday, we gave it a try and the kebabs came out successful! The best part of it was that all of us (except for my boring brother who was sleeping all the time!) had a great family time! So here's a small account of how we all enjoyed the day!  At first, dad loaded the bottom of the grill with lots of black coal. Meanwhile, mom was preparing the meat. Large chunks of beef was cut into the shapes of long ribbons, and was kept soaked into vinegar for about 60-70 minutes. Wonder what I had been doing? Running to and fro with the camera in my hands!
