Mini Food Review: 'Spicy Beef' Pizza of Pizza Hut

This is one of the pizzas listed under Pizza Hut's 'spicy' list, however, I did not find the pizza that much spicy. Indeed, I found a good amount of chopped red and green jalapeños, but that's it. If you are used to mouth-scalding spices, then you will be a little disappointed with this one.

But the amount of beef in the pizza was adequate, and saved the grace of its name. There were also slices of onion present.

I was also very pleased with the amount of cheese on this pizza. If you are a cheese-lover and look for a lot of it on your pizza, then you should obviously look elsewhere, but the cheese here is perfect for a pan pizza. You get what you pay for.


The only issue I have ever had with Pizza Hut's pizzas are their poor crusts. They start to harden after being left in the air-conditioned setting for about only five to seven minutes. Before you start being defensive, let me tell you that Appeliano (at Khilgaon) has better pizza crusts that do not turn into stone within such a short span of time.

Verdict: Spicy Beef is an ideal pizza for beef lovers, but the same cannot be said for diners looking for something very spicy. The crust could be much better. The pizza tastes great, and can be an awesome contributor to quenching your hunger when combined with appetizers and drinks offered by the restaurant.

Restaurant AND Meal Review: eat@ at Jamuna Future Park

eat@ (by BRAC Chicken) launched a few days ago ( click here to visit their Facebook page ). I would probably have no clue about this restaurant whatsoever if I had not visited Aarong the other day. While checking out after shopping, they handed me a flyer that said '20% off on meals', and I thought, well, why not? Hence the visit. Although this is a comparatively new restaurant and I believed that I should not keep my hopes high, the fact that they are serving chicken made me change my mind. KFC, BFC and CP have pretty much made our expectation really high with their supreme quality of food and service, and I expected the same from this one. Here's a sneak peek of my lunch there:

30-Day Playdough Challenge: Day 1: Hello Kitty

To be honest, I never believed I would ever find some modelling clay here in Bangladesh. But I did! Although this was some Chinese clay with no label, I really couldn't decide on buying some lest they should turn faulty and unworthy of sculpting. But then I seriously thought of giving it a try and bought this rather colorful looking set of clay. This set has almost every color (two shades of the same color which was absolutely unnecessary) except for black! I was so upset because a lot of things needed black in them. So I let out a deep sigh and said goodbye to my dream of making a penguin! I wanted to try something as simple as a candy or a caterpillar of one color. But when I looked at the white clay, I decided that I would go for Hello Kitty first! Using playdough to create stuff does not really need any specific directions. All you have to do is use your imagination and fingers, and you will end up with a nicely sculpted clay model. So I am just going to post
